Welcome May! The gateway to summer has arrived bringing the end of the school year for many, graduations, Memorial Day and the kickoff to backyard barbecue season.

With all of that, there's one more thing to get excited about with the flip of the calendar—a brand new batch of Aldi Finds! This time around, Aldi is getting into the summer game with cookout inspiration, frozen treats, refreshing drinks to sip poolside and so much more.

What Are Aldi Finds?

If you aren't a loyal Aldi shopper like me, you might wonder what the fuss is about. Let me explain! Each month, Aldi releases new products every week, that are specialty, seasonal, and/or only around for a limited time.

These are the things that fly off the shelves and then go viral all over social media. Over the last year, Aldi Finds have turned into the epitome of "If you know, you know!"

To find them, just look for the center aisles of the store with the huge red sign hanging overhead. If you go on a Wednesday morning (more on that below), you can also spot the Aldi Finds by the crowd that's gathered in that area of the store. Of course, if anything you see on the list is refrigerated or frozen, those items will be in those areas of the store.

What's the Best Day to Shop at Aldi?

Circle Wednesday on your day planner because you'll want to be at Aldi the minute those doors open. Not only is that when new Finds are released every week, but it is also the start of the new weekly ad with any markdowns or sales to save you even more money on top of Aldi's everyday low prices.

1. Fremont Fish Market Air Fryer Honey Mustard Salmon $3.99

Aldi has stepped up their fresh and frozen seafood game lately. Mustard is a classic flavoring for salmon, but honey mustard adds a layer of sweetness too. And there's no need to dirty another dish because the salmon comes on a plastic tray that's safe for cooking in the air fryer. 2. Zarita Frozen Cocktail Pouches $1.89

Give me this a hot sunny day and a crystal clear pool to dip my toes into and I will be a happy camper. This handy frozen drink pouch has all the flavor of a frozen cocktail without having to get out the blender! All you have to do is freeze and squeeze the cocktail into a glass (or maybe just add a straw). They're like boozy Capri Suns for adults. Grab some hoagie buns, fire up the grill and open up a package of these sausages with a kick. Have you seen the woman on TikTok who eats a crispy chicken sausage dipped in mustard for lunch? These would be so tasty like that! They're fully cooked, so you can just heat and serve for a busy weeknight supper or an easy addition to your next backyard cookout. Available: 5/1

4. Deutsche Küche Egg Spaetzle $2.29

These authentic German egg noodles were the VERY first Aldi Find I ever bought! Only available for a limited time every year, I buy extra and stock up so we can enjoy them longer. How do they differ from other egg noodles? Spaetzle has a chewy dumpling-like texture, which is great for your comfort food cravings.  They're the perfect pasta for my Crock Pot Steak Tips and Gravy and would make some killer chicken and noodles too. 5. Sundae Shoppe Ice Cream Cups $4.49

Did anyone else flashback to their childhood at the sight of these? I can still taste the wooden spoon they used to come with. These cute little ice cream cups, which come with both chocolate and vanilla in the same package, are fun way to enjoy ice cream on a summer picnic and would be great for a kids' birthday party. 6. Mama Cozzi's Pizza Kitchen Cheese Stuffed Breadsticks $2.69

If you aren't a regular Aldi shopper, you probably aren't aware of their awesome Mama Cozzi's brand. The Aldi store brand is known for its thin and crispy frozen pizzas, huge take-and-bake pizzas, Texas toast-style garlic bread and now these breadsticks stuffed with ooey gooey cheese! Serve these with some warm marinara or nacho cheese sauce for dipping for a great movie night snack.

7. Sundae Shoppe Vanilla Stroopwafel Ice Cream Sandwiches $4.99

I wish I could properly convey my excitement about these! I love stroopwafels, but I can't believe I never thought to make them into an ice cream sandwich. This is a returning item, but it's new to me, so maybe it will be new to you too.

If you've never had a stroopwafel, they're a thin waffle cookie sandwich with a caramel filling. These Dutch treats are usually set on top of a hot cup of hot coffee or tea, which helps soften the caramel-stuffed cookie. But I don't even need the hot drink, I eat them straight out of the wrapper and now I can have them in a fun dessert form too. Available: 5/8

8. Kirkwood Southern Style Crispy Chicken $8.99

When I was growing up we had frozen fried chicken a lot, but these days it seems to have lost its popularity. When I was looking through the monthly Aldi Finds I was surprised and happy to see this, and I already know how I want to use it. We love cold fried chicken in a summer picnic basket, so I can bake this off and have it ready to go on our next adventure in no time. What a great time-saver! Available: 5/22

9. Deutsche Küche Bavarian Soft Pretzel Sticks $4.79

No need to head for the mall food court the next time you're craving a chewy soft pretzel. This box comes with six Bavarian-style pretzel sticks just waiting to be dipped in some warm nacho cheese or mustard. Pro Tip: Bake and cut into small bites alongside spinach artichoke dip for a fun summer party appetizer. Available: 5/8

10. Sundae Shoppe Pina Colada Frozen Fruit Bars $2.99

This fun popsicle will help you bring a little taste of the tropics to your backyard this summer. 11. Deutsche Küche German Style Pickles $2.99

I love a great pickle, and these look super crunchy and flavorful. I bet I could drink the juice right from the jar too. (Yes, I'm that girl!) German pickles are usually flavored with onion and mustard, making them a little different than a typical American variety. Finely chop these to ramp up your next batch of potato, chicken or tuna salad or add them to your coleslaw in a nod to the one and only Dolly Parton. Available: 5/8

12. Specially Selected German Luxury Triple Chocolate Mousse Cake $8.99

One bite of this decadent cake is sure to satisfy any chocolate craving. Look at those layers of bittersweet, milk and white chocolate mousse all topped with a chocolate glaze! 13. Kirkwood Zesty Mediterranean Style Chicken Kabobs $5.99

Fire up the grill because we're making kabobs—Mediterranean-style chicken kabobs to be exact. These would be great as is for a weeknight main dish, but you could also use them to top off a big summer salad filled with fresh veggies from the garden. Oh, or stuff them in pitas and top with tzatziki sauce for a killer chicken gyro. Available: 5/22

14. Nature's Nectar Sparkling Drink Mixers $3.49

Sparkling juice drinks are all the rage right now, so of course Aldi is going to jump on the bandwagon and sell them for the lowest price around. 15. Belmont Key Lime Pie $5.99

I saved the best for last, or at least I think so! Key Lime Pie is one of my family's favorites and something we enjoy every time we vacation on the beach. Here in landlocked Indiana, the zingy pie can be hard to find, but Aldi just made our day with this frozen treat. Want to add something extra to make this store-bought dessert really shinel?
