There are a lot of numbers to know when it comes to your health. Is your blood sugar level too high? What about your body mass index (BMI) — and does it really even matter all that much as an indicator of health? How many hours of sleep should you be getting each night, and should you be stressed out if you aren’t walking 10,000 steps a day? When you go to the doctor’s office and the nurse rattles off your various readings … are you supposed to know without Googling whether they’re good or bad?

It’s easy to get overwhelmed by all that data, or to feel confused about what certain health benchmarks mean and whether or not you’re on the right track. With that in mind, we’ve put together a few questions to test your knowledge of basic health standards as well as expert guidelines you may not be aware of. (And don’t worry — if you aren’t up to speed already, we’ll help fill you in.)
