Hello, Everyone! I am an affiliate with the Global Resorts Network (GRN). I just attended my first timeshare presentation ever (3/12/07) with a Fairfield Wyndham resort, and everything they say about the high pressure sales tactics is true. But it wasn't so bad, as I was expecting it anyway. At any rate, I learned a LOT about the new shape of the timeshare business with the point system and all, and even with the very cool Fairfield plan, it comes nowhere near in price, convenience, and flexibility as the Global Resorts Network package. Even after my Fairfield reps chopped the price way down for me, I could see that I'd still be responsible for at least $1,000 annually in maintenance costs for my unit and a $35/month condo fee ON TOP of the mortgage payments for the next five years or so. If you'd like to see our membership site and some of our prices, go to http://grntour.us, and enter login: resort, password: movie.
