The Portable Film Festival is an international short film festival with a difference. No cinema, no queue, no tickets. The Portable Film Festival is online, downloadable and available wherever and whenever you want to see it. From the second we open our virtual doors, festival goers can take our programme away with them. All they need is a portable device like a video iPod, Sony PSP, laptop computer or fancy mobile phone. Like traditional film festivals, the PFF has an opening and closing date, a clear overall vision and a team of curators securing the best of what the world has to offer to fit the bill. But this is a festival in your hands. You can ignore our programme and curate your own. And here’s the kicker: it is absolutely free! 2007 saw 670 entries received from over 42 countries, across our five festival categories: Short Film, Music Video, Look At Me (which focuses on online serials), First Hand Capture (showcasing films caught on mobile devices) and Portable Medi
