Born: second half on the twentieth century in North America’s far west. Widely exhibited painter, graphic artist as well as art critic and writer for the controversial Brooklyn Rail. My current practice evolved out of the concept “the physics of aesthetics” and involves the recontextualization of art history, taste, and perception through maps documenting artists’ communities, diagrams of relationships of artists with philosophers and critics, and the charting of artistic and cultural movements.
