Leonardo DiCaprio is an actor, environmentalist and board member of Global Green USA [www.globalgreen.org] and the NRDC. In 1998 he founded the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation to foster awareness of environmental issues. He has also narrated two short environmental films, “Global Warning,” and “Water Planet” that can be viewed here. Currently he is producing "11th Hour,” an environmental documentary with Tree Media that will be released theatrically in 2007.
