Poor Richard
Louis William Rose is a poet, singer and writer living in Jacksonville, Florida with his good wife, Jamy Sue. Born and raised in The Bronx, New York, he has enjoyed a thirty year career as a singer of popular and sacred songs of the 1800’s and 1900’s both as a soloist and a chorister. He has been a frequent performer of the “National Anthem” at public events and recently sung “Lift Every Voice” at the seventh annual James Weldon Johnson festival in Jacksonville. He has BA in Political Science from the University of North Florida, graduating summa cum laude and is pursuing a graduate degree in philosophy.
