Robbie Tucker was diagnosed with Parkinson's at the age of 28 and often describes his diagnosis and being medicated as a second chance. "Before medication I had to stop performing on stage. My voice had become so weak and worn that it cracked more often than not. Also, I felt that there wasn't enough being done to raise awareness for people living with this disease, so I created the MapMusic.org ((( Musicians Against Parkinson's ))) Awareness Concert. Since my diagnosis in 2005 I have been pushing my musician skills to the limit and have been able, thanks in part the medication, to get my voice back. I started forming a band in August of 2007 which now includes a 4 piece brass section, keys, drums, bass, electric guitar and myself on lead vocals and acoustic."
