Based in Vancouver, Canada, A Sheep at the Wheel fuses pulsing riff-laden verses, huge hooky choruses, and powerful vocals in an original post alternative package. The 2005 release of their first independent record, Blend, garnered them enough attention to be voted among the top three new independent bands two years running in Vancouver's foremost arts and entertainment paper, the Georgia Straight. Three of Blend’s five tracks received radio play and two are featured in independent film soundtracks. The Sheep have played stadium stages at BC Place and the PNE Coliseum, and have opened for big acts like Finger 11, Stabilo and Wide Mouth Mason.
