I run a disability awareness website. I was born with Tourette Syndrome, OCD, ADHD, and evidence of a mood disorder. I would like to give back to the community because of what I have experienced. When I grew up in the 80s, as a young kid, we didn't have much disability awareness. I am not physically disabled, but rather, I have a neurological, emotional, mood, and mental disability. I try not to let others confuse all the above with being handicapped physically. People ask me, "Why do you consider yourself disabled?" I usually say, "I consider any deviation from the norm: with a symptom, disorder, tic, or mental/neurological/physical condition to be a general disability." This is how I live my live. I try and remain optimistic in every way possible =)
