“Transcending musical frontiers and genres”, “Simon and Garfunkel meets the Orient”, are just two ways of describing the music of EndiPol, two Englishmen who first arrived in 1988 in Istanbul, that wonderfully vibrant and buzzing metropolis bridging Europe and Asia. The sparkling combination of nylon, steel and electric guitar strings, fused with traditional instruments and rhythms from east and west, underlying the unique combination of their voices, both very different, but one perfectly complimenting the other. “We had no idea what to expect when we first came here”, says Paul, “but we fell in love with the place”. Andy adds “It’s the real deal, great people, great culture, great music, great food, great weather, such a fascinating melting pot of ideas and trends”. EndiPol are 2 lads from the north of England, Andy Clayburn from Leeds and Paul Dwyer from Liverpool.
