John (Peat) Moss I am an ex Army Apprentice from Arborfield Intake 1955A AAS Arborfield,1958,16 Inf Workshops, Minden L.A.D attached:Royal Horse Guards, Herford,Tenth Hussars, Paderborn,1966 Queen's Own Highlanders. Aspired to the dizzy heights of Corporal and got demobed in Germany in 1966 working as a mechanic for Volkswagen and BMW. Returned to "Blighty" in 1969 and emigrated to Canada in 1970. Took an exam as an Industrial Mechanic Millwright and eventually became a Marine Engineering Officer with the Canadian Coast Guard. Sailed on Ice Breakers in the Artic and wrote repair specifications for the Fleet Rescue craft. I am now retired and live with my wife on a 10 mile lake in beautiful Nova Scotia.
