Meet the researchers who devote their lives to learning about them. We put satellite tags on thousands of species, including the mighty bluefin tuna, goofy red-footed boobies and mysterious squid. We're just now learning where these animals journey -- we hadn't a clue where they went when they left our shores -- and they're revealing more about the oceans they live in than we've ever known.
