●鹿港文開書院建築於清道光3年，開辦以來收集圖書、延聘名師，為地方造就不少人才，光復後曾遭受火災以致荒廢，後由彰化縣政府重新整建成今日風貌。 ●從鹿港的老街中，也可看到許多先民遺風，不論是迴轉曲折的巷弄前後通達的門戶，或者古樸的磚瓦房舍都代表著先民早年在此謀生的種種情懷。 ●孔廟位於彰化市中心，建於清雍正4年，民國62年時縣府撥款2千萬元重修，使孔廟恢復原貌每年祭孔大典都在此舉行。
