Lunar eclipse as seen from Southern California (U.S.). I think this is the first time I've ever seen a full lunar eclipse so clearly -- not a cloud in the sky. Nothing beats seeing it happen in person, but I wanted to capture it somehow. On some segments you can see me struggling to aim the digital camera through a pair of small binoculars with no tripod. :-) The background song is from the movie "Breakfast at Tiffany's." I was humming the melody while I watched the moon transform in front of my eyes, so it became a natural choice for the video. less
