A guy stole a vehicle in Port Orange, Fl. Then he went down to New Smyrna Beach, Fl., and armed with a gun, tried to car jack a vehicle in the McDonald's parking lot, Rt. 44. That did not work, and the perp fled the New Smyrna scene in the stolen car from Port Orange. Later that night, in Brevard County, Fl., the perp was arrested in the stolen vehnicle from Port Orange. In this short video clip we see the area where the attempted car jacking took place. The first parking spot at the entrance to the parking lot of McDonalds (where now there is a silver pick up truck parked) is where the actual car jacking attempt took place. less
