CLAPTON’S CROSSROADS FESTIVAL CHICAGO ENCORES ON THIRTEEN/WNET NEW YORK’S GREAT PERFORMANCES ON PBS Credited throughout his career with creating super sounds in super groups, Eric Clapton offers his ultimate collaboration in Eric Clapton Crossroad Guitar Festival Chicago, encoring Wednesday, March 19 at 9 p.m. (ET) on Thirteen/WNET New York’s GREAT PERFORMANCES on PBS (check local listings). A follow-up to his groundbreaking, all-star Crossroads Guitar Festival 2004 at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, the event drew nearly 28,000 fans to Chicago’s Toyota Park July 28, 2007. Like its predecessor, the Chicago event was a benefit for Clapton’s Crossroads Centre in Antigua, a drug and alcohol education and treatment facility.
