Short film documents the trend toward what is called global medicine. Much like global communication or global transportation, geographical boundaries in healthcare are breaking down. People now benefit from best practices in health and healing from around the world. Film features images of a scientist turned healer giving healings in high tech medical settings, including cardiology, children's oncology, adult stem cell transplant and teaching self care healing in a nursing home setting. Footage takes place in and around Stanford University community, in the San Francisco Bay Area. The film is important in communicating to the vastly uninsured and underinsured public the hope for acceptance of methods that tap into our body's own healing systems which are by comparison very cheap, accessible, does not require drugs, insurance, etc. You might call it "organic healthcare" Free instruction available via website: www.21stcenturymed.org/disaster-relief-self-help.html less
