One of the best of the East Side Kids’ films, Million Dollar Kid is the story of a young gang member that the Kids wish to reform. The Kids have decided to rid their New York neighborhood of any other gangs, ones that cause trouble. In the process, they save the life of an old wealthy man whose son is involved in the dangerous criminal life. The Kids are able to help the misguided youth reform, but his former gang brothers don’t like it and kidnap him! The East Side Kids take it upon themselves to go to the rescue. Million Dollar Kid is a fine mix of action and comedy and makes for great viewing. less
