New Orleans Blues Entertainer, Scott Detweiler, opened the 2006 Hepatitic C Telethon on Los Angeles television, bringing his funky blend of blues and jazz to the people of Los Angeles. The players performing with him are Adam Steinberg, on drums, and Sam Nee on bass. They performed "Gatorwoman" and "Heartbreak in New Orleans", both penned by SD and both were unreleased at the time of this taping. The sound was engineered by Perry Robertson, with whom Scott had work with for a live 2006 DVD recording of a show a Hallenbeck's in North Hollywood. Robertson is also an incredible guitar player with whom Scott had performed with many times, including at the Pasadena Blues Festival.
