Claudia is a shadow spirit. She haunts my apartment when I make room for her. Last November, I suppose she was in the Christmas spirit, but in true form, there is a twist. She started off singing a lullaby about a son (I don'tknow if it is her son or if she is giving voice to someone else), but the mother - having once been a child, herself, and having lived through her own struggles - is also present. Again, I am not sure if Claudia is the mother singing about her son or if her song embodies another woman's experiences. I do know that the mother in the song was of modest means, loved her son deeply and had a strong sense of determination. To me, Claudia and the mother (perhaps being one in the same) show strenghth, wisdom and pure love in this visit. less
