TV TRAVERSE CITY: Hello and thank you for watching this special edition of the inside scoop on TVTRAVERSECITY.com. Today we are talking about Automobile History - about Antique Cars - to be specific and with us in the studio today we have the former Chief Judge of the Le Circle Concours d'Elegance in Los Angeles, Mr. Bill Schutz. Thank you for being on the program! Bill Schutz: Thank you, Franz. TV TRAVERSE CITY: When talking about Antique Cars, what time period are we looking at? Bill Schutz: As far as the Official Clubs would rule, the Horseless Carriage Club would say that any car built from the beginning of cars, approximately 1892 up until 1915. Then the next class would be Vintage Cars which would be 1915 to approximately 1925. And then the Classic Era of Cars would go from 1925 to 1947. There are also several other classifications of cars such as Vintage, Special Interest, High Performance and Sports Cars. They all fit into the different time periods. less
