My 5 years old Blind Daughter Maryam Malik First School Day at 25 March 2008 on Shaheed Millat School at Gulistan-e-Jauhar. Maryam Malik was born 7 August 2003 at Azra hospital F.B.Area Karachi, at 32 weeks of gestationl age. She was transferred to Aga Khan University Hospital at an age of 12 days for prematurity and full blown sepsis. She remained in hospital for a period of 1 month and 3 days. Her initial diagnooses were prematurity, sepsis. She remained intubated in NICU for 24 days. Her additional diagnosis included chronic lung disease, Necrotizing Enterocolitis, patent Ductus Arteriosus, Pseudomonas Sepsis and Retinopathy of prematurity. She was seen by the Ophthalmologist for advanced stage of ROP,examination under anesthesia was done,and total DETACHMENT OF RETINA was diagnosed. She is being followed in Aga Khan University Hospital clinics and as well as Ophthalmology for her underlying eye problems. Please Pray for My Daughter she 'Get Well Soon'. Father Faisal Malik less
