Because the running of the bulls and the stiletto run are both simply not extreme enough on their own anymore. I mean, why not be able to break your ankle caused by your foot attire and get impaled by an angry horned cow all in the same sport? I may be joking, but as we've seen with JackAss, some people will do just about anything for just about any reason, especially if it involves getting attention from others...
