Visitors can tour a blacksmith shop, a general store, and even the inside of a teepee. Dallas Heritage Village offers an intriguing look at what life in North Texas was like over a hundred years ago. Even better, living history interpreters bring the era to life. Bring a picnic basket to enjoy under the trees of the beautiful 13 acres or gather your family around one of the picnic tables in Nancy's Garden, inside the Village. Dallas Heritage Village has concession items through select food vendors only during special events. Private tours are also available. Located at 1515 South Harwood Street, Dallas Heritage Village at Old City Park is conveniently located near the heart of downtown Dallas, close to the junction of Interstates 30 and 35.
