North Carolina can expect to see a substantial job growth in the next three years in Martin County... as local nut manufacturer, Ann’s House of Nuts, plan to expand their nut and dried fruit business. The state awarded the company with a state grant of $65,000 dollars, which affords the company the much needed expansion… this will allow the company to upgrade the facility located in Robersonville. The new jobs could possibly be considered a raise as workers can expect to receive an average annual salary of more than $34,000 dollars as compared to the county’s current average of $28,000 dollars a year. Ann’s House of Nuts, owned by Olympus Partners, has headquarters located in Maryland and employs over 200 workers at their Robersonville plant. Upgrades at this plant are expected to be estimated at $2.3 million dollars. less
