The development of Agritopia attempts to solve several problems common in current development neighborhoods lacking character and livability and the complete elimination of Arizona's agricultural heritage. The Agro-Commercial area of Agritopia is a development of the Johnston family homestead area. Each existing building has been preserved by converting it to a new use compatible with an urban setting.
