Boston Scientific Corporation (NYSE: BSX) today announced it has received approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to market its second-generation TAXUS Libert Paclitaxel-Eluting Coronary Stent System. The Company plans to launch the TAXUS Libert stent early next month in the United States, following completion of the introduction of its TAXUS Expresss2 Atom Paclitaxel-Eluting Coronary Stent System, which was approved by the FDA last month.
