慈濟慈善開始的人文，就是大家有共有的觀念，就是愛。清淨無私的大愛。四十二年多前，五毛錢開始、點滴不漏，雖然是錢那麼少，我們還是期待愛心要人人做、福田要人人耕。人人的內心的本質都是善良，那善良都是要去付出，才真的叫做善良。愛，是表達出來的，才能真的愛，要不然的話，都會說：「我也有愛心、我也很善良。」你善良你一定要付出，你有愛，愛也要去付出，雖然心中都有愛，那是無形；你付出，有形。無形的是本性的善良，有形的付出，才真能幫助人。
