來澎湖除了選購黑糖糕當做拌手禮之外，現在還有一項新的選擇，那就是澎湖監獄大哥們親手做的藺草鞋。藺草鞋是澎湖當地古老又實用的鞋子，澎湖人撿拾貝殼或海菜時都會穿上以防滑倒。澎湖人為了推廣在地的老手藝，在澎湖監獄成立技藝訓練班，鼓勵監獄大哥們學習這些老手藝，也和大家一同回味古早味。
