在台灣，看到那個小島，其實台灣也大不了多少，所以我們台灣的土地是傷不得啊！我們不忍地球受毀傷，更不忍我們台灣這個社會，或者是台灣的土地再受毀傷。所以，我們唯有要把人人的心淨化，只有淨化人心，社會才能平和，人才不會起禍端。不過我們還更期待，人與人之間能更和諧，合心、和氣、互愛、協力。能不能讓整個社會，都有慈濟人這一股祥和之氣、祥和的氣氛，這都是我們的期待。不是做不到，只要我們有心，都沒有困難。我們的台灣人人都是菩薩，不是不可能。所以請大家要多用心，要入法，心要入法。
