In the sutras (scriptures), the Buddha spoke frequently of numerous universe systems, energy and matter, form and emptinuess, time in space vs time on earth, and many metaphysical phenomena which are beyond comprehension by the average person. Recently scientists used quantum physics to explain some of those topics. This video presentation by Maosen Zhong attempts to shed some light on these intriquing topics so that Buddhists practising the Pure Land School would have a better grasp of references to rebirth on those Buddhalands, and get a better understanding of the cosmos mentioned frequently in the Avatamsaka Sutra.
