生是帶著過去過去生的業識種子，和父母的緣，精血混合而住胎來出生。生下來之後，隨著我們的生理變化，慢慢增長，長大了，生長的過程當中，其實和心理也有很大的互相牽扯，這叫做業力，成就了我們的業力身。我們學佛，不只是學在這一生，我們也要想過去生。所以欲知今世果，就是過去生所做的；若要知道來世因，也是這一世要去做。由生到死中間這段的人生過程，我們要很注意。修行就是講究一念心，法要入我們的心；入心之後我們要身體力行。我們要有精進求法的心，聽進去了，就要實行，然後才能真的進入我們的心地，所以修行就是自耕福田。
