Fallen Colorado Army National Guard Soldier, Sgt. Jon Stiles, 38, of Highlands Ranch, Colo., was killed in action when a roadside bomb detonated near his vehicle in Jalalabad, Afghanistan Nov. 13 while deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Stiles had survived a similar attack just a month before did not take medical leave for the injuries he suffered from the attack. Instead, he stayed in country and after receiving medical care, returned to duty with his fellow Soldiers. Launa, his wife, referred to him as a "Soldier's Soldier." less
