This is an inventor's daughter typing at 50 words per minute using a handheld keyboard called the AlphaGrip that looks and feels like a game controller. It's plugged into a laptop computer connected to a flat panel monitor at the foot of her bed. The AlphaGrip enables high speed, desk-free typing. It's more comfortable than a standard keyboard when leaning back in your office chair, or in a recliner in your living room, or on the sofa, the floor, or in bed. It also enables typing while standing away from a flat surface, which cannot be done quickly or comfortably with a keyboard, if at all. The AlphaGrip is also 3-5 times faster than a thumb keyboard or phone pad thus enabling total desktop-like functionality on smart phones and handheld computers. less
