Pendleton, Indiana -- Saturday was opening day for the Pendleton Junior Baseball here in Pendleton. The day started out with a hugh parade which traveled though downtown, Falls Park, and then to the on to the Pendleton Junior Baseball Complex on the north side of town. The highlight of opening day was a very special reconigation of a very special individual, Mr. Larry Holloway. Larry started the Pendleton Junior Baseball with a door-to-door campaign in 1973. Today Pendleton Junior Baseball is one of the largest and most successful Junior Baseball Leagues in the area. less
