When celebrities say they are looking for privacy they usually mean they are looking for more publicity of something that should be private, like the birth of a child or a wedding. So when we heard that actress/singer-songwriter Mandy Moore and alt-country demigod Ryan Adams had gotten hitched in a private ceremony in Savannah, Georgia, we were like, yeah, sure, riiiiight. There were probably 400,000 photogs who just happened to have the address and time emailed to their blackberries right before the ceremony started. We are now officially ashamed of such cynical thinking. (Her next album, Amanda Lee, doesn’t even come out until May. There is officially no PR value to this happening at this time at all.
