For more info visit www.newsinfusion.com New Jersey Division Of Taxation In the hope of giving individuals and businesses that qualify the opportunity to get caught up on unpaid taxes, New Jersey is offering a limited-time tax amnesty program now through June 15. During the amnesty period, New Jersey will waive all penalties and half the interest for individuals and businesses that owe taxes on returns due after January 1, 2002 and before February 1, 2009. After that, an additional 5% penalty will be imposed in addition to all other penalties, interests and various costs. Administrators suggest this is an opportunity to catch up and start fresh.
