The Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award is the only NFL award that acknowledges a player's off-field community service and on-field excellence. Paul would like to take this opportunity to commend the over 1,500 NFL athletes who work alongside their teams on Community Tuesdays, active in events at local schools, hospitals, and other nonprofit organizations on their only day off of the week during football season. Paul has been fortunate to see this work firsthand while working with a number of franchises. Of this hard-working group, there are 32 nominees for the "Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year" award. Paul applauds these athletes who are not only willing to put themselves on the scrimmage line on game day, but on the front line within their community assisting today's youth needing guidance and strong role models.
