Could Swine Flu Influenza cause a deadly world Flu epidemic in people soon? A severe form of Influenza disease seen first in Mexico appears to be a new mix of virus strains that is causing severe respiratory illness. It has been seen in Mexico starting in April 2009, there is a concern that it could spread worldwide and cause a world Flu pandemic similar to in 1918. But a mutation of the Flu virus could occur that could result in a deadly world pandemic.
