Drew Tichnell www.drewtichnell.com Nine months ago Drew Tichnell packed her guitar and drove out of the Piney Woods of East Texas to Austin. This 18 yr. old rock/blues singer had already proven her capabilities as a songwriter by recording her debut before she graduated from high school. She immediately started collaborating with some of Austins finest musicians. She started from scratch putting together the most talented band members she could find and they are well seasoned rockers. Her background in singing classic rock covers and her love for southern rock and blues has shaped her original songs into an eclectic mix of powerful melodies. Now with an original set list in the style of Black Crowes, Sheryl Crow and ZZ-Top, this new band is playing regularly in and around Austin with studio plans for July 2006. less
