It's vital to know where we are and what's around us. Public agencies and other organizations in Oregon depend on maps and geographic information to support day-to-day operations. This information also supports good planning and decision-making. There is a critical need to coordinate, develop and maintain geographic information and the computer systems that manage it. The main work of the Geospatial Enterprise Office (GEO) is coordination, to ensure the quality and usefulness of Oregon's geographic information. navigatOR is a statewide effort to coordinate with local, state, tribal, and federal government, and private companies. navigatOR will lower the cost of managing geographic information and benefit all Oregonians. less
