Human Embryonic Stem Cells have the capacity to become any cell in the body. This means they have multiple potential, the term for that is: pluripotent. Nuclear Transplant Stem Cells (or Ovasomes) are one type of pluripotent stem cells. They arise from eggs which have not been fertilized by sperm. Nuclear Transplant Stem Cells may prove to be more therapeutically valuable than stem cells derived from fertilized embryos or adult cells.
