An ARCH http://www.torctech.com/arch (Autonomous Remote Controlled HMMWV) system consists of an optionally unmanned lead vehicle with an autonomous navigation suite and a manned chase vehicle with an integrated operator control unit (OCU), providing supervisory control of autonomous operations as well as teleoperated control with video feedback. Initially installed on HMMWVs and designed for route clearance missions, the modular conversion kit can quickly transform existing military vehicles to optionally unmanned, autonomous systems while maintaining the vehicle’s original operational capabilities, including manned operation.
