Guitar hero is a rhythm game following in the footsteps of Parappa the Rappa, Gitaroo man, and even stuff like DDR. Cover bands (which sound very accurate except on 1 or 2 tracks) provide a selection of songs randing from Black Sabbath's Ironman to Franz Ferdinand's Take me Out. Other highlights include Queens of the Stone Age, Queen, Bad Religion, Cream, Blue Oyster Clut, and the Edgar Winters Group. The design of the game is great, offering a bunch of funny venus to play in as well as lots of characters to use (even Death himself).The new games coming out in a few months will use the same controller and are expected to have more characters, more songs, more venues and other additions like the ability to play bass and stuff.
