PLAYGROUND : LIVIN ON A WEAK END / HEAVYHOUSE REMIX PlayGround’s first album “What’s your game” (Catalogue Records/Wagram) was recorded in Paris by Daniel Presley (The Breeders, BRMC) and mixed in London by Dimitri Tikovoi (Placebo, Nick Cave). Its French October 2004 release got acclaimed by national press. (Dancefloor-rock hit “1994”.) The band went on touring nationwide and scoring multiple important events such as the Inrockuptible Tour 2004, Midem 2005 (Live upstairs in partnership with Sonicbids), and the “What’s your Game Tour 2005”. Furthermore, PlayGround opened for bands such as The Datsuns, The Rasmus, Morphine, Him). On the international scene, they performed at the CMJ Festival 2004 in NYC, and performed in the UK, including with Allan Mc Gee at his Death Disco Mayhem party.
