In this refreshingly hilarious, poignant, comedy, Julian Webster, the Vice President of Programming at the Hosanna Network, has a problem. He is up for promotion to head of the network. Julian’s fate hinges on being tapped by the network’s ratings grabbing, program hostess and self-proclaimed “Equal Opportunity Bigot”, Miss Amber Tammy. So, where’s the problem? Julian is a closeted gay and Miss Amber Tammy is coming to his home to check him out before making her decision. Julian now faces losing it all. Enter, Lizzie, the waitress/playwright who marries him for the money to put her first work on stage and unknowingly becomes his beard.
