On May 1st, 2006 Elijah Mothershed was assaulted by the Los Angeles police department when he was shot in the right shoulder with a rubber bullet at close range, while filming the (A Day Without a Mexican Immigration Protest). As he attempted to raise from the ground he was then hit in the back several times with batons. This was an obvious attempt by Chief Bratton to sensor the independent media from reporting the true events of that day. Check out this attack on our rights to freedom of the press. The video starts at the end of the protest where a crowd of more than 450,000 people are dispursing from Mac Arthur park, when the LAPD decides to have a little fun. Please add this to your favorites, pass it onto your friends and tell them to do the same. Peace and Blessings, less
