General Mills Partners with Chicago Transit Authority to Launch Chocolate Chex™ Cereal In honor of "Chocolate Day" on Saturday, July 7, thousands of Chicagoans received a free ride on select Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) buses courtesy of Chocolate Chex™, a brand-new delicious and wholesome cereal from General Mills. To celebrate the launch of Chocolate Chex cereal, General Mills partnered with the CTA to offer free bus fares to riders on four "Chocolate Chex-press" buses wrapped with a special Chocolate Chex exterior design on July 7. Chicagoans were also among the first to try the new product, as samples of Chocolate Chex cereal will be handed out free at some bus stops along the routes.
