May '07, Acceptance into The Emerging Filmmaker's Series, Screening May 21 9:15 PM, Little Theatre 240 East Avenue Rochester, New York 14604 Originally published as a text piece online at Ron Hudson's "Carnival Of Positivities", Stephen Mead was inspired to take the themes of his "Quilt Suite" & "Murals In Motion" series, to combine another large painting with music and film footage, putting a face on AIDS in global context. "The Day, The Cure", written in the early part of the pandemic, remains a hopeful prayer piece to this day, especially when so much work must still continue. less
